I can’t get over MAGA overlooking pedophilia; rampant, unparalleled corruption; rising prices; dissolution of access to foreign intelligence; the realignment from world leadership to subservience to Russia; and Cold War within the United States all to stick it to the libs and to hurt brown people.
Vance’s statement is almost accurate, except he leaves out that the “engineered chaos” was engineered by the Trump administration and the Mpls is unique in that they are fighting against tyranny.
Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social · 7mo agoAlex Pretti wasn’t a part of “engineered chaos.” He was a nurse who cared about people. An individual. What is “engineered chaos” is what this admin is doing in blue cities to justify invocation of the insurrection act.
If Obama had been a shitty president, we probably wouldn’t have gotten Trump. White egos were feeling mighty hurt by the competence of someone who didn’t look like them, so they hired the worst white man as punishment.
Right-wing America is fine with human sacrifices in the US to maintain their (let’s call them) policy preferences - children gunned down in schools, mothers killed by ICE or by lack of life-saving care during pregnancy, cops killed by Trump rioters. What are examples of this on the left? Anything?
I think we’re all ignoring how many zoomers will love trump for backing their guy vs establishment democrats. This isn’t as great as it seems.

We don’t talk much about how we’ve lost that shared community of watching the same shows (or listening to the same songs) at the same time and talking about them together. Social media sucks, but this loss sucks, too.

Concerned for the small farms in danger of going under who were “lied to” by Trump? Yeah no. I’ve worked in at for years and this video lays out exactly what drove ag behavior. Her best question - if farmers weren’t growing soybeans for Americans, why should American taxpayers bail them out?

I’m really worried that all the rounded up immigrants will be forced to work in the fields for no pay as part of their incarceration - we as a country are so close to openly supporting modern day slavery in the US. (And I get chain gangs are part of this.)

This is an excellent take. Elected republicans get a pass from trump voters who are unrivaled in their devotion to whatever trump does to them…and republicans successfully hide behind it. If everything was framed as republican policies, they wouldn’t be able to hide as easily.

Cat food just moved up 30 cents a can for cat food made in the US. Just a little proof that tariffs cause a rise in prices for domestically produced products.
Once again, trump has committed arson and is loving the big flames, and republicans are doing nothing to put out the fire.
Fuck wealth, what about our lives? He is the greatest destroyer of lives, of dreams, of futures. Trump is a monster.
