In 1981, Alan Alda made a lovely film called The Four Seasons. 44 years later, not even a terrific cast and Tina Fey's otherworldly talent can save Netflix's humdrum adaptation screenspeck.com/2025/05/01/t...
‘The Four Seasons’ Fizzles in All Four Seasons (REVIEW)
Despite Tina Fey's many talents and a stellar cast, Netflix's adaptation of 'The Four Seasons' is a pale imitation of the original film.

I sadly come bearing bad news. I really wanted to Tina Fey’s ‘The Four Seasons’ but unfortunately it joins the line of unnecessary remakes. My review for @screenspeck.bsky.social : screenspeck.com/2025/05/01/t...

hello my dear friends. Sorry for sounding so weird but this app has one of the best writing communities. I was hoping if anyone knows of any free or through the library writing courses out there? or maybe some not so expensive ones?

I reviewed Justin Kurzel’s The Order for @screenspeck.bsky.social I’m a little rusty from not covering anything since May but I found myself unable to stop writing about this one. Tragically relevant. Here’s my review
America Was Never the Dream: ‘The Order’ (REVIEW) The Order is, sadly, not unlike many other significant historical markers in the United States.

my review of Nosferatu is coming soon over at @screenspeck.bsky.social
I feel like if you’re going to make a reimagining of Murnau’s classic Nosferatu, this is how you do it. This is Robert Eggers at his most playful & fun. Sure, it’s a gothic horror but it’s also infused w/ so much whimsy I smiled a couple of times.
Nicholas Hoult is having one hell of a year w/ these performances. Powerhouse performer.
