🚨 TW: grief; parent illness They don’t tell you that sometimes anticipatory grief can last for years. That you’ll sob over a 6 minute phone call because you Had Them Back for that time. They don’t tell you that sometimes you have to watch your parent lose themselves, and lose a bit of yourself too

Well. I was prescribed adhd meds yesterday and I start them today. I’m really hoping they do…anything. I’m not hoping for miracles but like any change would be amazing 🥲 I’ll keep yall updated?

just a little over 50 days til my sur/gery appointment. SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has donated so far. 💖 even tho this is a procedure i've wanted my whole life, it's still a big scary thing to go thru, especially during a time when work is slow/nonexistent for me.
