I'm really glad retro style games can do big numbers, but like, knowing how much this game made based on these sales numbers, this is more likely to make me go support an indie whose game can be considered a success with 10,000 sales.

Surely it was some sort of licensing issue that prevented this from getting a genesis/snes port. Such a missed opportunity, the Simpsons games we did get on console were terrible

I like how the suggestion is that not upgrading enough is costing us in productivity. So they're admitting our productivity has been skyrocketing for the last 30 years but we're not getting paid enough to buy the things we need to exponentially increase our productivity for the next 30.
