Last time at old place. Last 4 hour drive to move (hopefully). I need an extended vacation.
Cleaning out the old place. Feels kinda weird that I have only two fond memories here. Small town. Very white. Very republican. Can’t say I enjoyed it, but our new place is much better and closer to friends and family.
Golden sun dark dawn didn’t come out that long ago… It’s only been 15 years… I’m sure they are working on a sequel. There was a cliffhanger, and no series ever leaves those… right…?

I talked to the video game backlog gods last night and they said that I need to start playing my backlog again. The book backlog gods are giving me some time to build bookshelves in their honor, but they probably won’t wait forever.
Once moving in and settling happens, Imma restart streaming. Got a lot of neat things planned. Kinda miss yapping and playing games with folks.

Slowly unpacking. Not sure how, but we (Wife and I) have duplicate manga, games, etc. like, dang, I didn’t remember I had a lot of stuff. After we unpack, we are going to inventory everything. Lots of bookshelves will need to be built. 6 up so far.

Reminder that it’s good to step away. It’s good to pursue things outside of the internet. It’s good to unplug. Breaks are good.

Talked to an old man yesterday. He said something like “back in the day, we called them r*tarded” when talking about special needs. I told him “hey, we really don’t use that anymore. Special needs would probably be better”. Throughout the conversation, he used that instead. Sometimes it’s easy.
