Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you
made the mistake of rereading the entirety of big reputations in one sitting (yes it took literally the entire day). my hands are ice cold
not sure if some people understand that part of what makes creating so rewarding is the fact that it *is* hard. It doesn’t matter if you’re been painting or writing for 80 years— every piece will have problems that need solving, and few things feel better than figuring it out.
To summarize a very long story short last year was kind of an awful year for me art-wise, the timing was literally the perfect storm as I started getting attention on twt my initial burnout started (mostly unrelated).
in the meantime fun fact there about a year ago there was like a whole week where i was obsessed with the idea of Bakugo playing the violin
i have so many krbk daughter thoughts but we'll see what i make of it
