I have an art degree from a public, non-art university (way cheaper) 1. gained skills & had access to resources i likely wouldn't have had otherwise. Had awesome profs as well 2. Yep, at my current job I use & increase skills i learned at school. still in contact w/ people i met there too

I LOVE mornings when I can just chill in my bed & knit for a while. kinda becoming a morning person since I have to get up at the same time every day to take my meds and at that point I may as well just stay up. Anyway this yarn is quite strange but I'm liking it for socks so far. #knitting #knitsky

recent fiber stuff! finished knitting yet another pair of socks and also found some bare merino in my stash so I dyed that up to spin at some point 🧶

some print work from 2022/23. I've kind of fallen out of a regular printmaking practice but I want to get back into it cuz I 💙 printmaking. I'm planning to play around w/ monotypes this weekend

Key facts: Epilepsy is a chronic noncommunicable disease of the brain that affects people of all ages. Around 50 million people worldwide have epilepsy, making it one of the most common neurological diseases globally. Nearly 80% of people with epilepsy live in low- and middle-income countries. It is estimated that up to 70% of people living with epilepsy could live seizure-free if properly diagnosed and treated. The risk of premature death in people with epilepsy is up to three times higher than for the general population. Three quarters of people with epilepsy living in low-income countries do not get the treatment they need. In many parts of the world, people with epilepsy and their families suffer from stigma and discrimination.
