Given that @reconnews.bsky.social seems to have permanently removed 99% of the functionality I was paying for (profile text search, actual manageable galleries etc.), what are people now using instead?

Spent the last two days on duty at @griffishisles.bsky.social. I enjoy providing a visible uniformed security presence for these events, and am starting to become a bit of a regular! Plus I enjoy getting to play concierge at the hotel for a few days, giving out restaurant suggestions 😋

I'm a big sucker for humiliation and generally prefer my uniform to have a subtle 'you look a bit of a prat' factor. But sometimes it's nice to wear something a little more authoritative. Wanted to try a black polo shirt, so I put on a shirt and tie instead. Stupid hypno 😵‍💫🫡😈

Have to admit that i now much prefer to be called by my surname only. It feels a lot more militaristic and appropriate for a security officer. Might start asking people to call me Morris as my name... 🤔

My friend @PUPNEUTRON died :( I wrote some software today to make a nice picture of him out of all the photos I could find online. I had to put in some duplicates to get enough, but I don't think he'd mind.

9 days until the uniform switches back to "winter mode" and all my shirts have to be long-sleeved again.

I have an expensive new A2 photo printer. If anyone local to me has any high quality photos from shoots that would be... awkward 😏... getting a shop to print big I'm happy to print pretty much anything providing it isn't illegal. Not looking at profit, just covering the costs.
