had to interrupt my shitty camera challenge and brought a competent film camera on our trip to salem i’m very surprised this picture came out nicely, it was so dim inside and was a 1 second exposure, leaning against a wall but handheld #filmphotography
out for a walk with a local photography group, got some more mavica pictures for #shittycamerachallenge sometimes i get a picture that i’m very surprised by, this first one is one of those
first round of pictures already for #shittycamerachallenge it’s a lot of #clouds mavica did okay, one disk started giving the format error again but switching it out started working with others. probably switched through 8 floppy disks on these flights
time to get shitty. just to up the shit factor this camera at some point stopped reading disks, but some percussive maintenance has fixed it again for now #shittycamerachallenge
it's so funny to me that my 5D *almost* fits this criteria. compact flash is a dead format right? 12MP is nearly under 10. just a 20 year old 'prosumer' dslr and it's so close to being "shitty" glad i have the mavica (and a holga) to use instead because the 5d is way too good

it has been so wild going from listening to a comedy advice podcast with no continuity for the past 3.5 years or so, finishing the backlog of episodes, and switching over to a linear story-driven d&d podcast because now there are ✨cliffhangers✨ yes this is about the brothers mcelroy
i did go through another roll of 35mm in the holga, at a drift event plus a group photo walk through a cemetary mixed results but when it hits, it hits. a real medium format camera may be required some time soon™
i have one last roll of film to put through my holga before i want to lock the fuck back in to using my a-1. feels like i've been trying to do too much and really want to focus on one platform probably a short detour with the mavica in july for the #shittycamerachallenge
telling myself i’m boycotting forza horizon 6 because no hiace, but in reality i’ve heard it doesn’t run amazing on steam deck. passing on it for now but if they ever add a hiace it’s instant. also still sucked in to death stranding 2
i’ve ended up with quite a few friends on pikmin bloom from overseas, and have taken to policing myself with postcards when exchanging them to not use ones with churches, or send fast food related decor pikmin, so as to not be such a stereotype
local group photo walk today, it was overcast and going through a cemetery. decided to put my camera over to monochrome and then turn down the exposure compensation, and i kinda think this picture goes crazy #photography
