As usual, it's basically an extended whine about how the author feels attacked by a societal discourse that doesn't apply to him. If you are fulfilled in your friendships that is great! But some men clearly aren't and that's what people are talking about when they discuss male loneliness.

One of the worst things about the Senate’s attempted Fauci show trial is how the supposed evidence against him is early in COVID he considered multiple hypotheses, then increasingly ruled some unlikely as evidence came in. The objection is he did science. Fundamentally that is what’s under attack.
Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.

the lead anecdote in this story is about a mother who was reportedly tased and arrested at a football game in 2020 for not wearing a mask, and for some reason, this is the fault of anthony fauci and never, ever the cops, who were powerless to not do that
