Crews will begin work on the Freya Street railroad overpasses tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 5. The southbound lanes of Freya Way/Freya St. will be closed between Mission Ave. and Broadway Ave. Northbound lanes of Freya St./Freya Way will be reduced to one lane between Broadway Ave. and Mission Ave.

SPD is asking everyone to stay out of wildfire evacuation areas unless you are a resident evacuating. These areas remain extremely dangerous. Fire conditions can change rapidly, roads may be blocked without warning, burst gas lines are actively burning, & heavy smoke creates additional hazards.
