It depends. If I’m regularly going for a dillydally, I’m just outside enjoying my time, probably at a store buying things I don’t really need. Having me time. If I’m scoping, I’m looking for some dilly I can dally.

Let me go ahead and put this on either account. If you have an argument for not dating bisexual people because of a “ preference” or you don’t like that “lifestyle” I want you to keep in mind what the fuck you sound like…

So, I really don’t have much energy on the weekends and I need to learn to sit with it. I really don’t allow myself to rest for just like one day and I think that’s one of the reasons why I’m having such a hard time… let me just let my body guide me. I know I’ll feel better afterwards.

I really suck at making self-care plans on the weekends 😫!! Partially because it’s ADHD is still equating self-care with Work and not just self maintenance/self love. I may need to journal some more. The fact that neurodivergence can affect how quickly you internalize something says quite a bit. 

I’m so tired. The quizzes did not prepare me for that shit. I am recognizing a pattern of paying more attention to DSM, neuroanatomical differences, and statistics on the exam, though. At least I did well 😮‍💨

I hate that I have to say this as a person who is more of a scientist than someone who practices spirituality, but let me dip into it I guess. Venerating our ancestors and our elders does not mean we repeat the harmful thing they’ve done. There’s not much else to say after that.

YEEEESSSSS (still working on that but yes)! I can say it’s especially difficult for those of us in society who are more likely to be considered property or have less autonomy, but I love this. Scream this from the mountain tops.

So, being a paratherapist, and also volunteering for crisis, you really began to understand the beauty in someone reaching out when they’re spiraling. I would much rather you spiral in front of me than you spiral alone. Let’s get that mental flexibility back on track.

So, I need to do more research into epigenetics and black psychology, but I am realizing a lot of the issues that African-Americans face is because we are told to hold onto our family’s trauma and not analyze and correct it. I think we need to talk about elder and ancestral veneration. Really bad.

It makes me think that’s a sociocultural response to the abuse that you normally find in restaurants in the US. Hell, could be connected to how we were raised as children. I’m not gonna get into that now, but I am intrigued 🤔

OK, so I knew that I internalized a lot of the behavior that my grandmother and mother did because they were single mothers which was multitasking, not taking effective breaks, etc. I just didn’t know how bad. It is a deeply subconscious action that affects so much of my life 😮‍💨
