Setting up the new faces based on the changed anatomy, expressions are very difficult with a reptilian muzzle but not impossible
Oh also, I have a older ref sheet from a year back I might also do after my current boy. Was working on a pokesona finally, a psychic weavile or smthn. Heres the rough idea I was cooking up while i'm sharing random wip stuff. and a little drawover to show the colors they might be
I was goofing around and adding random trinkets on my ref sheet plans and accidentally designed the best rattle of all time
still very loose, but now i'm adjusting the anatomy so that the tail can still hang down, but also leave room for the diaper prints and not obscure too much from various angles. I'm thinking this works since the tail can raise a lil to show most of the butt.
Rough first idea of the boys bodytype, looking for a fun blend of kobold and raptor. Lots of tweaks to be made but they're already filling the "horrible gremlin" and "little guy" meters well.
Since i'm a glutton for pain i've decided to go back and fix some of the features/anatomy I didnt like with the first draft. I think this form has a more rounded/sleek vibe than the more "box-y" one from before, and having the features all be flatter also helps the head not feel stretched/tall
Finally done setting up the references for the facial expressions, all ranges of silliness for the boy complete.
The head is finally planned out, first taste of the new boy. Now onto the other like 50 parts of the ref sheet lol
Still messing around with this boys face, trying more simplistic eyes. I'm enjoying it mostly but still unsure if the shapes are vibing overall.
This look is feeling promising, but i'm wondering if it feels too sharp and not enough cute.
More random sona rework stuff, trying to go for an anatomy that feels equal parts Raptor and Kobold. Then I gotta figure out their hair. Also, speeeeen
Still working a new huge reference sheet for my old sona redesign, and i'm making a special diaper brand for them. Got the loose concept set up and its shaping up to be pretty cute, probably gonna call em something like "Raptots"
Been super busy, but i'm planning to get back into drawing soon. For now i've been doing a little concept thumbnail to revise my old dragon sona to more accurately represent me instead of a fake edgy DL persona, so i'm stupid-ifying them. Real ref soon methinks, but enjoy this loose concept for now.
