today has been a nice reminder that the right people will always make the effort when they can can't believe i have people in my life who are willing to do a full on accessibility check of a venue then report back to ensure everyone is catered for during a hangout 😭

Being mortal creatures with limited time and energy, it is totally natural that human outrage is selective. If you tried to do work on every injustice and horror on this earth, you would collapse into an exhausted ball of trauma it is absolutely fine for you to select a cause that is yours

99% of the time, when someone accuses you of selective outrage, it’s a way of politically demobilizing you and shutting you up “Why are you angry about data centers instead of fast fashion” isn’t about making you care about fast fashion. It’s about shutting you up about data centers And visa versa

It's not even out yet but I'm not seeing enough (if any) coverage of the wonderful, beautiful Magdalena from Mortal Shell 2, a boss who has been met in the PC Beta. Fire fuelled wheelchair forest queen, her wheelchair is a key part of her moveset! Her arm is a cannon! And she's BIG! Oh I like 😍

An important missing piece of information on that transgender wage gap graph is that trans women quickly learn that they need to make themselves indispensable to their jobs to not get pushed out, so every cent of that 60¢ is earned with twice the labor of their cis colleagues
