It sure would be nice to have an art process I could refine to get faster but I have to try something different almost every time. It might be why I learn relatively quickly because I certainly don't draw much, but it would be nice to get things out quicker.

Seems so surprising that I can look at art I did from 5+ years ago and still feel like I did a really good job of it. Most people I run into seem to always hate their old stuff.
Finally home from AC 24 hours after I planned due to multiple delays, missed transfers, and a check in hiccup. Had a good time! Don't think I'll be going again soon though. Met a bunch of lovely creatures but the heat and the travel expenses just didn't really add up for me.
Honestly I think games are so much better off with an older generation of graphics. Focus time and effort on other things. I'd take slick performance, punchy animation, good writing and fun gameplay over anything coming out of AAA studios these days even if hardware wasn't as expensive as it is now.
