Played Fate of the Fellowship at the @badmooncafe.bsky.social with @roundwoodsworld.bsky.social and @desmondo.bsky.social. Lost after losing The Woodland Realm as a Haven, not killing enough Orcs so losing Hope that way and then having all 9 Nazgul in Frodos location for a search.

Well, my first really big ACW battle, Gettysburgs Day 1 Heth's attack at @desmondo.bsky.social Shed o War I As one of the union players, got absolutely mullered by confederate artillery in the ridge but held it long enough to secure a union victory by game end. Played using Des's rules.

Promised the family I'd cook a curry tonight. Broke out the Dishoom cookbook. Chicken Ruby and Black Daal.

Finished Ork Kult of Speed for Epic.

Second Game of Snokers (Good Ho!). Using GHQ 1/2400th, Italian and French forces. Probably somewhere in the Med early in the War. No scenario as we're just getting up speed. We're really enjoying these rules. #sorkersgoodoh #Wargaming #DurhamWargamesGroup

So, amongst my tiny #salute53 haul from yesterday, came the new CoC2 rule book, I’m completely blown away, don’t get me wrong I loved the CoC1 rule book. But this new beast, doesn’t feel perfunctory, it looks and feels like it’s just stepped into the modern age, beautiful. #SpreadTheLard

Replayed the Moria gate scenario twice today. Once with the scenario from the Quest of the Ringbearer 2019 book and then a blended one using bits of both versions. Fellowship won every time but I managed to eat at Gimli one game and Sam another

So having painted Thaug and his tentacles for Conan my son said he would make an excellent Watcher in the Water proxy. So one week later....
