We just had a guy in the shop visiting from Portland. “I’m surprised this city doesn’t have better bike infrastructure.” BANGS HEAD ON DESK. 🙄
Just found out about a local non profit organization called May We Help that helps get accessible equipment to disabled folks. This is a motorized trike for a paraplegic in Florida. We are helping them with the brakes. Love this!!

I’m starting to call our bike shop an analog bicycle shop, not just a “pedal bicycle shop”. We do not sell e-bikes, we recommend you purchase your ‘e wtf ever you want to ride’ from a reputable shop that will service it. Cincy has great shops who do e-bikes well.
We are officially in the season of “please hurry and fix my bike” but when it’s ready it sits for days til customer decides to come in. Space is limited up in here.

A new school bike like this would cost well over $900. We built up this Puch Mixtie over the Bert and it found the most perfect home. Sold for $600.
We installed a new drivetrain and wheels for @uarctos.bsky.social and he texted me today “the bike is better than new” and that’s what we like to hear!

Someone came into the shop today with a maga hat on requesting a flat repair. When Dominic looked at his hat (it was black not red) he asked if that was a Trump hat. Dude was like hell yea I’m Christian. Dominic said “you’re a fake Christian and you can leave.” We don’t service pedophile supporters.
