Bizarrely Pettable Rectangle 35/he/they - Closed for commissions/trades/requests. Sorry! 🔞🔞🔞 18+ Only 🔞🔞🔞

An entity in the form of a massive kite, four equally long 'tendrils' gently billowing behind it in whatever breeze that flows through the open intakes. Something of this size would easily take anyone along with it, yet the strongest force when holding the string is akin to a gentle tug. #SizeSky

So, I originally had a whole spiel planned for contextualizing the leviathan kite, but now that it's seen the world at large, I feel much more comfortable letting it exist naturally as it is. I find it very gratifying to see people creating their own interpretations of my designs :)

Hey, I just want to say quick that I am absolutely delighted by the reception on the leviathan kite! Initially, I figured that it was so niche and me-specific that it'd be completely inscrutable, so the fact that people have developed an understanding for my work is incredibly validating

I'll provide context for the last pic when I'm not delirious, but I cannot overstate how bizarrely transfixed I've been by this concept, I cannot explain it. The idea of a kite monster so unfathomably massive that it fills the sky is so delightfully terrifying that I can't stop thinking about it

I know every artist has a very different relationship with their art, but does anyone here know the feeling of like, coming up with An Idea and then going from "barely drew anything for three months" to "guy inscribing runes into stone for five hours while speaking in tongues"

Despite how good it looks on him, I feel like Varaxus probably finds jewelry a bit stuffy. How difficult it is to have your form constrained, unable to express yourself. Ironic that something so malleable could be so binding!

Varaxus, a rubber taur monster with four arms and four eyes, adorned with ornate gold bands around his arms, neck and tail. He looks a little disgruntled, adjusting the bands on one of his arms

say hello to Viktor the pool vulture! I really felt a need to make a cute and cuddly character. I've never tried drawing something like this before, but I think it turned out decently! He's very sweet and friendly, and I was thinking of having him be a part-time necromancer? colour pencil, 3 days

A shapeshifter character from 2023! I remember stumbling upon this color palette and being desperate to make a character around out of it. I should doodle them again at some point

While the original species is typically more earthy colors, this inflatable is an unnaturally bright yellow and sky blue, with night blue highlightsA reference for Lumael, the huge monster inflatable, now a shapeshifter in multiple forms, including a sergal, a wolf-ish fellow, and another anthro guy with a block rectangular muzzle. One of the poses depicts Lumael towering over a small rav.

oh my god, I just posted The Pic to FA and image thumbnails don't work, I'm going to die of embarrassment SDLFKJHSDF

Well this was originally the plan, but A) I got so many wonderful responses on this that I'd say it's changed my outlook but also B) I've posted like literally 20 different posts and replies around it and I'm too lazy to delete everything, so I think I'm willing to accept it being publicly known

OKAY SO I'm gonna post the pic in a sec here, and my plan is that I'm probably just gonna keep it up for like a day and then remove it after since it's like, not really content I want to be known for.

I genuinely love it when one of my pieces gets like 7 likes but also 4000 comments with super fascinating discussion and stuff, I feel like I've done something right as an artist. I haven't felt this way since I was regularly posting fucked up looking megas lol
