Well, here's a BIG LIE I have just encountered "the Democrat-led government shutdown" and a violation of the Hatch Act: "the Tr-mp Administration works to reopen the government". Following a link to the HHS website to read about Medicare Eligibility rules, here is the banner containing both lies:

What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power. This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats.

When the government moves to punish those who say things that are offensive to the feelings of the government, that is a crystal clear violation of First Amendment protections. Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is asking you to give up your own First Amendment protections.

When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.
