Programmer. Nerd. Introvert. Probable dumbass. This machine blocks Luddites.

#aiart prompt 1323: She stood holding the raised hood up with both arms looking down at the steaming engine; the surrounding wastes were hot, sun baked, inhospitable. From the back inside corner of the engine housing, looking diagonally across forward.

#aiart prompt 969: The great sphere hung in the air above the city, pitted and scorched from its travel through space; its otherwise gray matte hull reflecting the early afternoon light. It was vast—several miles in diameter, at least. And it slumbered.

Saw most of Masters of the Universe. Campy. Ridiculous. Kinda made Guardians of the Galaxy feel restrained. Didn’t entirely hate Leto, surprisingly. The cameo by Lundgren was maybe a bit much. Adam as socially awkward was interesting.

#aiart prompt 967: A lone figure standing on the edge of a crumbling cliff during a lightning storm, with jagged rocks below and ominous clouds swirling overhead — cinematic lighting, high contrast, dramatic tension, surreal atmosphere

I had never actually looked into what epub was until very recently, and I was modestly surprised to learn, essentially: archives of xhtml and css, with supporting images. That’s it. Some specialty xml for ToC and navigation, but the actual book contents is webpages.

Last week, as part of participation in RetroAchievements current Challenge League, I played the SMB1 (NES) hack “Celeste Mario’s Zap & Dash!”; in beating it, I felt compelled to play actual Celeste on Xbox, which I haven’t touched in about three years.

Discover is actually feeding me (mostly, within the context of posts relevant to the topic) positive posts about LLMs and generative tech today. Either I’ve blocked all the Luddites, or the RNGods favor me.
