Last week I had the chance to present the results of my MSCA project with @davidgrlab.bsky.social in the MADPOL25 @madpol25.bsky.social at the beautiful Alcalá de Henares. It was awesome to meet brilliant researchers in polymer chemistry as well as lifelong friends in an idillic location!

I’m so, so happy to announce that last week I started my new position as Assistant Professor at the Organic Chemistry Department @ucm.es It’s great to come back to this university and I’m truly thankful to everybody who helped me get here. Looking forward to this new chapter!!

MOPs meet DNA! We developed a method to use MOPs as crosslinking nodes for DNA, creating robust, porous networks that form hydrogels and aerogels. Yesterday we closed an intense month of science (together with Sara Cembellín, Paloma García and Diego Matesanz) with our workshop VisualChem, whose aim was to introduce to high school students to basic concepts in organic chemistry. The activity was funded by the STM-RSEQ.
