Pebbles having a light snack of just put out catnip. I grow it in a container, harvest once in a while, and dry it for a month. I mix in a small amount of store bought. She eats the fresh stuff.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could be as happy as the scrub Jay seems just taking a bath.(sound up) #birds
I am Blind Cat Carlos 🖤 This is my Kingdom 💕 Pleas give this Post some reach and follow if you enjoy the Video, or have you ever seen a blind Cat like me ?! #catsofbluesky #blindcat
Had to put a cage on this bird feeder because the pigeons were devouring everything before the smaller birds had a chance to eat #birds
Princess Pebbles waiting for me to get in bed so she can settle in for the night
That furry four legged pointy eared bird is back at the feeder. Quite a jumper.
Front porch rail boxes coming into full glory. First Dicentra Bleeding Heart blooms this year
It’s good to put out water on these hot days even in the coastal California climate. #birds
Got a California Towhee in a back yard area with a bad leg. It hops around as if nothing is wrong so I left a small feed and water dish out on the deck which it uses. Typical lifespan is 3-5 years but can go to 8-12. Hope this one can keep going with a little help.
A repost of family Siamese cats from 65 years ago. Is it really that long ago? Willy (the big male and turkey thief), Tinka and Jenny the blue point
Prunella (also known as self - heal for its medicinal properties) and a miniature sun - the Gaillardia
Two Scaly-breasted Munias at the feeder. Brought from Asia in the ‘90s for the pet trade, they of course escaped into the wild. I have a local flock of a couple dozen in the central coast of California. Love their body armor. They are very social and seem to get along with the other species. #birds
An apparently leucistic goldfinch missing its yellow showed up the last two days. Trying to get a better pic (may have to actually pull out the DSLR) #birds
Band-tailed pigeons pile on the flat feeder. Make room for me!

This next thread mixes the story of Mr. Moe and why we need to remember the senior cats. So many older cats wind up in shelters where they do not deserve to be. Some because their owners die or become incapable of caring for their animal and others because they become too expensive to care for.
