Is law enforcement just useless to stop this? I’m hearing about a reign of terror by the violent right threatening and doxxing and swatting. Judges, Congress, media. I don’t believe they have to do it this way. This is likely the cheapest (for them) fastest way, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Swiss AI Euria uses air cooling not water and recycles heat generated for use in towns. It’s like saying you have to have sprawl to increase housing. No you don’t.

These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR. We need a data center moratorium — now.
