Content provider for doom-scrollers and reality enthusiasts. "This is what I observe or expect to happen" isn't the same as "This is what I want to happen." Sentences ending with a '?' are questions.

Cook's Political Ratings do not predict a Blue Wave. Not even control of one chamber of Congress for Democrats. In the Senate, they will need to win ALL four of the toss-ups. In the House, they will need to win 13 of the 18 toss-ups. The full-blown version of fascism is close.

I worry that most cynical among us, hopped up on 30 years of law and order rhetoric, will say "this is the system working: he didn't do anything wrong and now he's free." As if the terror and wide-scale publicity of an arrest and federal prosecution is not a horrible punishment in and of itself.

The Justice Department is admitting that a $14 million renovation on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, was flawed, and is dropping the criminal case against a former Olympian that accused him of damaging the pool, according to a new court filing. https://cnn.it/3RJJnwj

Not to be a buzzkill, but most of the abuses here have no remedies (or available remedies are functionally impossible). It's been this way for decades, but the Trump administration is laying bare exactly why this is a problem.

Here is a surefire test to determine if Republicans have turned on TACO 45: Congress successfully votes to override his veto of a bill they passed. Until then, it is a wet dream of pundits to announce these "CIVIL WARS ERUPTING." PS Cornyn and Tillis are wretched, unmitigated assholes.

Just because she is old and a ketamine martini connoisseur, one cannot forget her bullshit: "Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to." It is only disappointing if you confuse her for something other than a Republican asshole who is also a has-been.

Hard to imagine a less responsible or knowledgable take on the Fauci hearing than this one, from Peggy Noonan, not that it's surprising given the author and the publication: www.wsj.com/opinion/anth...

Oh, we're still doing the, "It's Kamala Harris's fault that I couldn't see the consequences of a Donald Trump second term and therefore didn't bother voting" thing again. Listen. If you need to be "courted" in order to do the right thing for vulnerable people, I don't want to know you. Go away.

The next time you get the urge to assert or agree with "ICE is scared," ask yourself if they are as scared, more scared, or less scared than the petrified little girl left alone and crying as ICE disappears her dad on the way to school.

People are saying the White House Correspondents dinner Friday was an embarrassment for Trump. It wasn't. It was an embarrassment for the WHCA and for anyone who was there and didn't walk out when Trump began to speak.

Two out of every three veterans voted for TACO 45 and Republicans. Anytime you see a veteran or a veteran's group condemn some act of this administration in isolation, remind them of this fact.
