Perhaps an unintended consequence for Russia as a result of their orange puppet's rash actions: Iran won't be able to send any unneeded Shahed drones to Putin to help bomb Ukraine. Depending on how long the U.S. war on Iran lasts, this could become a welcome respite for Ukraine.

Used to be the government must use due process to deprive citizens of their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Now the government can deprive us of any or all of these for no reason at all, and we have to try to use due process to get them back. If due process works at all . . .

While I am hopeful that things will get better, I doubt it. A year after Hitler became Chancellor the country became alarmed at his vicious policies and actions. He then "purged" some of his most violent followers. The public became convinced that the worst was over. We know how that turned out.
