Queer playwright, lgbt gm, baker of brownies, lover of thunderstorms. Considering capitalism, probably going to end up in the Bad Place. johnmcdonald.net for more! Diva of choice- Celine Dion. Stardew Valley saves: 6. Pokopia crew includes Growlithe.
Getting ready for a meet and greet as a newbie not behind a table. But I had to make sure to show I'm a bear of good character with a few choice pins and a fabulous bag. Did I succeed? #gaybear #popculture
Tea on the Thames gave me some really great Thames snapshots (and my first real scone - with red currants nonetheless)
This Get Baked 25 layer chocolate cake came in so many permutations that I had to make some choices and I choose the first and maybe best of the chocolatey fun =) #cake #chocolate #gaybear
Most gay men are Trekkie from Avenue Q at heart. Let's be honest about it.
Had to go see Avenue Q! One of my favorite if not favorite puppet based #musicals and had to get a little nod to Trekkie in the social media background thing. Love the actors in this West End production and hope to work with at least one in the future in my shows =D
Had to visit the Globe while I was in London before I headed into my new program =) Made the tour guide pick a favorite Shakespeare show and that was fun! They were getting ready to do Much Ado but sadly didn't stay for that - may go back later for more!
Brand new board game arrived right before I left for England and I want to celebrate one of my newest and heaviest #boardgame beauties
Also Unlikely Angel where she played Ruby Diamond is one of the best guilty pleasure movies you can have during the holidays. Not to mention much like Lucille Ball, Dolly's work gave us not just Buffy but also one of the first docs about the AIDS quilt.
Which Dolly Parton songs are your faves? She was the highlight of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, brought gems 2 life like Wildflowers in Trio and between her upbeat tempos like 9 to 5 to bittersweet religious melodies like in Me and Little Andy - she was always kind, always surprising. Loved Dolly
Just a couple of weeks until I head to England! Very exciting!
This fall, I'm going out of this world with a tabletop game that twists and turns just where you think it might. Or perhaps at least hope it to do so. And yes, that is what you think it is.
Mike Bennett's take on Arcanine absolutely makes me giggle. His whole experience doing the #pokemon in Gen 1 is phenomenal and I'm lucky to have experienced his art in person in previous years =D
This is why I prefer a Ghirardelli mix, this Pillsbury mix gotten for me does a cakier brownie. It's fine but for #brownies I'm more a fudgy guy. How about you?
With the most rocking hot pink decored organ motif this side of Phantom of the Opera to boot!

The news has left me feeling very shaken and fragile, even as I get ready for a new adventure in a new country. Still, there is comfort. Right at the tale end of June, something new and important for my bookshelf from a favorite historian @herreraimages.bsky.social
An episode of The Good Life will be shown on BBC Two this evening in tribute to Dame Penelope Keith.
Got a whole bunch of stuff from Pride Knights and it showed up just in time!
Have you ever done your Enneagram? I don't think anyone should be super surprised by my results 🤔
It's fitting one of my last favorite moments in Chicago before the move and the next phase of my career came during IML and came in the form of a great too quick elevator convo with one of my contemporaries/heroes of the stage and other spaces @showoffjonah.com who I owe a book recc to
Tonight, the Rangers must choose a path to uncover the secrets of Angel Grove. Assuredly, their new mysterious Zords will likely aid greatly against Serpentera but after that - will they choose to track down Skull, investigate the Dead City time loop, or is there another option? A #ttrpg conundrum
My friend in the spooky and the uncanny did a blog post about my horror ttrpg kickstarter! Come read about my inspirations, how they influenced the work, and perhaps back if you feel so intrigued! jenniferbrozek.com/blog/post/20...

The start of Act 2 in my Power Rangers #ttrpg deserved a new visual. Welcome to Angel Grove, Rangers. Ready to find out why they call it a Dead City?
Looked fabulous this weekend in my volunteer swag =D
So stoked to hang out and volunteer at CAKE tomorrow and see what the indie comics artists are up to these days! Gives me lots of ideas but also just fun to see art and spend a bit of cash if I can =D Will I see you there?
