and when I finally collapse backwards into the cushions, legs held up towards the ceiling within my clenching hands, it is just in time to see the show begin in all it's aching beauty.

A mix between a human foot and the hind paw of a jaguar, caught in the middle of its change. It's held high in the air, big toe not so big anymore as it recedes down the foot, dwarfed by larger digits. Claws pierce through what used to be the nail bed of each digit. A coating of dark fur trails off along the top side of the paw.
