Years ago at NYCC, I was cosplaying Saya Kisaragi from Blood-C (a few months after the anime came out!). I encountered this guy who loved my cosplay! He asked for a pic & I posed. Along with having the craftmanship/performance skills to judge cosplay craftmanship/performance competitions, you also gotta be respectful & uplifting towards your peers!

Cosplay definitely helped me with my public speaking skills & the confidence! Because if this, I'm able to do these things so much easier at work & in real life! Cosplaying & socializing with folks, along with running panels, competing, & even being a judge really helped!
