Leaving windows feels like a monumental task and probably not viable as a streamer who does a lot with VR and audio stuff, however, moving my personal daily computing over to linux is probably worth the hassle.

Somnium people would not leave me alone me for 6 months after I very politely declined to play live music on their platform MULTIPLE TIMES. TL;DR: Not taking no for an answer, using my friends to guilt me into playing, problematic marketing on twitter, and not even paying musicians.

Recently we had someone who came from Ukraine, a dancer and she was not able to use paypal and Stripe, this was actually when crypto tips came to shine, this was the only way to tip her. As you know Ukraine is in heavy war with Russia atm that's why the country didnt accepted Paypal or Stripe. Im totally understanding your statement dont get me wrong thats why we implemented dollar payments as well for virtual goods or tipping an artist. quick heads up theres a community manager from somnium space joining rave servers and dming the owners in hopes of moving onto their platform same platform using crypto same platform blocked by vrc then proceeds to say persona is bad cos they know people using fake id's and didnt report it 😬

Games about evil aliens that hop from planet to planet ravishing earth's resources are just metaphors for people like these game executives. It's such an alien frame of mind to have no love for the medium they have so much power over to gut studios while giving themselves bonuses and then leave.

Just got a dm asking for my feedback on their AI music for their stream. Don't do this. Apparently I need to be clearer with my stance against AI. If you can't afford to commission real artists, do art/skill trades, or pick up a pencil or a guitar yourself. Making art is super fun!!
