I genuinely dont get where everyone got the idea that Sinners was Blade's story. Sinners was Ryan Coogler's story. HE came up with the idea. He convinced WB to have him have full control of his IP (thats unheard of in Hollywood). The only thing that Sinners did was use some of the costumes.
