Anyways, if it’s interesting to anyone I can see several Spindle employees liking and retweeting stuff about supporting official merch and to *not boycott* anything until the union has said go Imo if you actually care about what they think, you’ll probably follow suit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1/2 Support all of the Spindlehorse artists affected and support the employees during this time, it is incredibly difficult and they all deserve the absolute best 💖 -
I get the anger but this sort of action would prob only serve to make things worse. If whatever policy change doesnt get reversed AND people stop buying official merch, this would be a hit to both the artists personal AND professional income. in worst case, could end up with people being laid off
😢 I know we're grieving the news, and feel your feelings BUT- The artists being affected are still Spindlehorse (and by extension Amazon) employees. They are still getting paid to make official art. Boycotting official Hellaverse merch won't help them in any way. You're just kicking them twice. 🫤
The only reason you should boycott is if the union calls for one, otherwise ya ain't helping
