[The explanation for both draws out a soft laugh from him, it's short but it is very. . . Interesting to see the Iron Lord go over his new fireteam. Fingers fly along the keyboard, keeping in the important details as Phoebe speaks.] Yeah. . yeah that checks out from what I've seen. -

uhhh . . . yeah . [ he waves his hand around as he looks for his words .] it's like she's . . . maybe not scared . she just wants to pretend she's a healer or something first -- which is whatever . i can't tell her what she 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 to be . can only tell her what she's good at . as for tech . . .

Not necessary? [Strange. Though pacifism isn't exactly new it still throws him off. Then comes the deliberation with Phoebe's words.] Mhm?

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 6d ago

[ he raises a brow slightly , but says nothing in response to the first .] i think . . . well , they could be worse off . one doesn't believe in her ability to actually fight as necessary . the other is . . . [ he pauses , thinking through his words .]

[Enough to make his eyes light up like the tablet as it turns on. One hand hovering over a keyboard right from where he'd left off.] Lucky me. [It's soft, gentle and unintentionally said.] So, what's your experience with the new lights? Do you think they're getting on well?

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 6d ago

[ he crosses his arms , then steps forward to keep that same amount of distance between them .] [ nothing close , by any means , but a comfortable space between them .] all the time in the world , if saladin has his way . [ he let talin hang out with him today .]

'Patroling' the Tower, though in all honest he's bored and for once he's got a few hours before he's consumed by paperwork once more.

[Taking hold of a tablet, then stepping backwards and halfway sitting on the desk.] Well, I certainly do. You know Zevala and Ikora prefer these reports on the new lights be detailed. [Fingers drummed against the side of the tablet before looking up to the hunter.] How much time do you have?

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 6d ago

[ he sees things for what they are , but he does not deny his own desire to hang around a bit more .] [ ' be more open ', is what saladin had suggested .] i'm sure i'll have something extra to comment on , if you need it enough .

An honest evaluation, I'm sure Zevala will be happy to hear about it. [Gold eyes take a particular interest in the phantom curve, before meeting the different colored eyes of the hunter.] You know, if you'd like to give more input I can add it to my report. If you have the time Guardian.

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ something that he will consider thoroughly when the time comes .] [ he glances at him briefly as he stands next to him , and there's that ghost of a smile again .] they're fine . a bit stupid , sometimes annoying , but they get the job done when it calls for it . don't have a reason to be scared

[Crow knows, so he'll put it in his journal for Phoebe to discover later.] Does she? That's sweet, really is. [Cautious step forward to join at the others side for a moment.] How about you? Has it been good to you, working with them?

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ and if he were even half aware of such sentiments , he'd be likely to throw himself from the tower again .] she's alright . happy to be so close to the traveler again , that's for sure . i think she likes working with the new lights , too , she's not very stern with them .

[Oh, he's bothered. Like the sun bothers the plants.] Good, we were speaking with some of the Eliksni a little bit ago. I think he's staying with them for a little bit. And Cherry? [A shame really, but Glint is as fond of the paperwork as he is, at least one of them should have a good time.]

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ he should go find shaxx , he knows , but he is lingering instead .] [ if he is not bothering him , at least .] [ perhaps trying to find somewhere new to turn the conversation .] how's glint ?

[Crow knew why Phoebe looked away, still even for the moment he'd miss those eyes.] Right. [Now he's looking down to that (mostly) completed report from before.]

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ he is holding his gaze for just as long as he had paused earlier .] [ and then he is looking away !] right .

Neither is mine. [The tone is low, warning but it is betrayed by the softness in his eyes.]

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ little narrow of his eyes .] [ he can't just tell him that he would do the same , though .] . . . it's really not a request .

Can't make that promise. So you'd better be careful.

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

so long as you don't do something stupid if things go wrong on my part .

Long nights, if it were quiet I'd probably end up falling asleep. [Eyes flicker to his lips for a moment, Crow's own curving into a friendly smile.]

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ both brows raise , and there's a slight tilt upwards in the corners of his mouth , but nothing beyond that .] me yelling is good background noise ?

[The silence isn't exactly comforting, longer than he'd like for sure, but it's easy to sit in.] Makes for good background noise through work. [Even if it's in the foreground of his mind.]

𝑨𝑹𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑹@amethystreef.bsky.social · 7d ago

[ he's considering this for a long moment .] i see . [ he's not angry !] [ just surprised , it would seem .]

[A quick shake of his head.] Not all of them, but I do check in on them every once in a while.

Not sure, I told him I had that report to write and I hadn't seen you. Outside of viewing your mission.

"Is this new activity? In my neighbourhood?!"

Crow can see the way he looks away, and tears his own gaze from the ghosts and lets them have their seats at the peanut gallery. Watching the other then going up to the moon again. "Some fierce competitors is all, I'm sure if you were dealing with any of them in a one on one you'd be able to beat-

The talking goes back and forth for a minute, Crow becoming increasingly tired. He does relent with Glint giving a 'See, I didn't even have to fight ya for too long.' Which earns a scoff from him and a small headpat/shaking from Crow. Standing up and turning around to where Phoebe was he would -
