What on Earth is happening to @rsc.org ? First, removing Diamond open access from @chemicalscience.rsc.org , now some stupid graphical changes to the websites that make it hard to see anything? Come on…
I have to say, I was really looking forward to the @rsc.org publication refresh, but I must confess I am not keen. We can't see the graphical abstract, and extra clicks are required to access what we want to see. It would have been nice to show it to readers before committing.
Crazy.I really liked (and this seems to be a common view) ChemSci for being so open to everyone regardless of any finances. @chemicalscience.rsc.org really not a nice move. You have so much money from other new journals where you charge fees, you could have this ONE, FLAGSHIP journal free of charges

That's how my 'crystal' looked like. Air-sensitive sample, esentially dead. But I found that some regions of that... THING have a proper colour, and I was able to center it on a fragment that gave nice diffraction with 84% indexation and solved very nicely!😂 @rigakuoxfordxrd.bsky.social

This diffraction pattern is from one of the most exciting structures I got so far. Collected with 'naked' beam at synchrotron, poor res, but solves. The problem is that some atoms in the side-chain are 'missing' and can't really be located with this data quality and possibly a disorder... 😭😭😭

Successful collection of a dataset at DESY. Now have one macrocycle crystallised as three different solvatomorphs with different packing!

Checking whether anyone did an experiment I need while writing a paper and finally found it. Reference to a spectrum I was searching for: „Author X, Author Y, PRIVATE COMMUNICATION”. 😅😅😅 How was it even allowed?!
