For some reason I started thinking about Ned Beatty and his Oscar nominated performance in the movie "Network". Its genre was a satirical comedy about corporate greed and media influence, so now it's on my rewatch list because I want to see if it will still feel like the same genre.

Hakeem Jefferies is against Medicare for All now, because his donors in the healthcare oligarch class are. (That's why they say Medicare for All is not doable) This isn't "perfect being the enemy of the good", because accepting corruption as the norm is never good.

When Uber Eats and DoorDash hid the tip button, delivery workers paid the price. Tips fell by 79%. In January, we changed that. Since then, more than $104 million has gone back into the pockets of the delivery workers who keep New York City fed.

I'm depressed today. Here, in Michigan, there's a cloud of smoke covering our state. It smells like everyone is burning huge piles of dead wood & leaves. Outdoor activities are shut down. Climate change is real & Gov. Whitmer is greenlighting AI data centers.

Michiganders. Haley Stevens just voted to keep funding the state of Israel. They'll continue their genocide & apparthied using our tax dollars, not forgetting to mention, paying for the Israeli version of Medicare for All, while opposing Medicare for All for us. It doesn't have to be like this.

I was raised to not speak ill of the dead. In therapy, I learned that speaking honestly about the harm done is more important than protecting the dead. Lindsey Graham caused more harm to this state than anything else in my lifetime. His legacy is hatred and brutality. Now, SC can move forward.

Trump has opined that the DSA is really just communism. But no reporter has pushed back on that assertion. A simple followup question like, "so, do you believe Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland are communist countries?", would do. Too bad we don't have a free press.

Do people understand how large a trillion is? A trillion seconds is approximately 31,700 years. Billionaires are unacceptable, trillionaires are 1,000 times more unacceptable. And YES, none of these people actually worked for all their money.
