Tonight is the night, Kiddo tests for yellow belt. They’ve been working hard for just over 7 months. Hoping it goes well.
I’m working through a geography book with Kiddo. I make damn sure they know it’s Lake Ontario and the Gulf of Mexico.
Kiddo might be doing a taekwondo tournament next month. I’m so pumped. They would have had to miss one in October since I’m gone.
I might come back and do a thin glaze on the blue to give it some depth. I’m still so happy the Hammerhead is in the Starter Box. #BattleTech #nerdlings #ghostbear
Kiddo is having a birthday party today. We’ve had stuff ready for weeks. Just need to show up and decorate at the park. The theme is the current obsession, Minecraft. Of all the things, it’s not bad. I also sit near them while playing so I can check on it.
Dang it! There’s a Kings of War tournament in my backyard mid-September. I cannot commit to a 2 day tournament though. I’m bummed.

Kiddo just finished their both adding by 8 and adding by 9 worksheets. They were getting real motivated to finish with candy and LEGO. The set was only after they finished adding 1-10 worksheets. Yes, they’re 4 and I’m gunning to get them set for first grade math. Now to subtraction.

Kiddo knocked someone else over while sparring tonight at taekwondo. I’m glad they’re finally being more aggressive vs just waiting for a turn to kick. They test for next belt at end of August.

My little cousin got married today. Happy for her. I however should not be allowed near any full mass ceremonies. Thank goodness my mom told me she was holding her tongue too at all the stupid shit. Jesus, a church, government officials should not be a focus during a wedding. The people should.
