Shooting some super8 for the next feature. As always, very appreciative for my best buds doing the dumb things scraped from my diminishing brain.
The overpowering stench of a theatre full of these scratch and sniffs was nauseating. What a great time! Even today, satan’s card stock is still quite pungent.
Bit of hair in the gate, but what’re you gonna do.
Finally got some film developed from the first #hamont protest of the hyperscale AI data centre US goblins are trying to jam down our throats (as well as DRAC, blame where it’s due)
With very little notice, in the middle of the week, so many people showed up to try to stop this stupid AI data centre from getting jammed through and approved. Slate Asset Management is truly evil.
It feels weird to praise a browser, but in my effort to ditch Google/Chrome, I’m really enjoying the experience Zen offers.
#portrayalofguilt last night doing their thing. Happy to report their live show is as tight as their recordings.
I didn’t expect to be making a sign for a protest this weekend, but here we are… an AI mega data centre proposed in the ward I live in.
My hatred for people who set off fireworks is unparalleled.
Made by my brilliant and weird friend @stefanmacdonald.bsky.social. Saw it last week & loved. Check it out!

In memoriam watch! Bless Gayheart’s performance and the unending thunder in this movie.
Very much enjoyed this one and Ethan Embry is a certified cutie (even when battling demons).

I saw "Head Like a Hole" at the Horror-on-sea film festival in January and it was excellent! Definitely the best film I saw at the festival. A slow burn anomaly film with a Christian cult for once, fantastic Lovecraftian ending.

David Cronenberg’s films do not delve too deeply into organized religion, but they provide an interesting lens into how a cult mentality can creep into different groups. In Cronenberg’s work there is ...
