Listened to @jasonschreier.bsky.social on the Triple Click podcast talk about how some Xbox studios felt that Game Pass devalued both their games and games in general. Remember when publishers cried that the resale market devalued games? Then MS and Sony go ahead and set up Game Pass and PS Plus.

I’ve seen a lot of much-needed context and caveats produced in the past week which challenges and nuances Sony’s eyebrow-raising statement that they’re being pushed into ending physical disc production for PlayStation games by ‘consumer preferences’ for digital.
