my contribution for #shalvisweek2026!! day 6, isekai meet godcleaver, an umamusume who loves researching uma biology more than racing; and prime transition, an umamusume from a prestigious racing family “what if we were horse girls?” -alvis, probably #shalvis #xenoblade #art

shulk and alvis from xenoblade, reimagined as umamusume (horse girls). shulk (godcleaver) is on the left; alvis (prime transition) is on the right; in between them is the prompt phrase for shalvis week day 6, “have we met before?” the background is cloudy pink.

both of their outfits are racewear inspired by their xenoblade counterparts. since umamusume are all female, i’ll use gender-neutral pronouns for the character descriptions to avoid confusion.

shulk (godcleaver) wears a turtleneck and shirts under a sleeveless coat, with a pair of goggles hanging around their neck. the right-arm sleeve is black and longer than their hand. the left-arm sleeve is a bell sleeve that opens at the elbow. their left arm is partially raised. their hair is long and scruffy, and they have a hair clip resembling a monado on the right side of their face, similar to lin’s from xenoblade chronicles X. umamusume ear ornaments indicate whether the irl horse was a mare or stallion. since shulk is male, godcleaver has an ear ornament on the right ear: two rings that sit at the base of their ear, similar to saturn’s rings. their expression is confused, perhaps hopeful, and their eyes are watery.

alvis (prime transition) has clothes that look more like umamusume racewear and combines both alvis’ and A’s designs. they wear a long bluish coat with two lighter V indents on the front and two lighter circles on the lower half, white pants, and a light blue cape that falls behind them. in other words, they have alvis’ clothes with some of A’s embellishments, and A’s cape. they wear elbow gloves the same color as their cape. because alvis/A/ontos is a gender-neutral character, they have two ear ornaments: the right ear has a key earring (similar to alvis’ necklace); the left ear has an ontos core earring (similar to A’s earring). their expression is playful, perhaps amused, and they’re smirking.
