I beat Mega Man X Regenesis. I would not put it in the same class as AM2R but it’s the same school. I give it a B+ unfortunately failing it in Boss Weapon Design and in overall originality. It’s definitely more than a rom hack, but never fully feels like a Capcom polished product. I’d recommend it

Everyone is getting the iPhone Duo right? I mean, I can’t see a reality where anyone would want anything but that. I’m honestly shocked the starting price is so low, and on par with what the competitors are charging. Apple played their cards well this time around, and I’m honestly excited.
I truly don't know what to do, I just ordered the Ayn Thor and the NEXT DAY they announced a cheaper alternative from Retroid (same Chinese owners). I THINK I prefer the smaller display and top stick on the Thor, but the Retroid Duo looks like more nostalgic and will probably be $100 cheaper.
Just a heads up but Kickstarter took my payment today and signed me up for Link Wallet without my consent (that I know of). They had my email, phone number, and credit card on file. Deleted that immediately. Not sure how that’s legal at all, but be on the lookout.
Replacement words for cusses have always confused me. Why is it okay to say fudge instead of fuck when, in context, they mean the same thing? Who deemed that certain words are "bad"?
I backed the Tenchi Muyo Anime Pilot on Kickstarter. It’ll be nice to see Tenchi Muyo again, it was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I rented Tenchi Muyo in Love every week until we found a VHS copy. I can’t remember if I ordered it or if I just bought the copy from Hollywood Video.
Consumed by all the work I just assigned myself to refurbish and sell two Gameboy Pockets, 3 GBAs, 1 GBA SP, a Dsi XL, and at least 1 DS Lite. Turns out aftermarket screens all doubled in price in the last year. Fml. These WERE $50! Considering just cleaning everything and selling them stock.
I bit the bullet and ordered a 12gb AYN Thor. I’m going to sell off some of my Gameboy Pocket and Advance models to pay for it. I didn’t realize until I saw the prices in GameStop that I could reasonably trade off some stuff we aren’t using. Lookin at you boxed Wii. 👀

I took a nap and had a dream that someone donated one of those giant Surface Studio tablets to me, and also my cat who is very fixed suddenly had 10 kittens. They all looked like the soot balls from Spirited Away. One was hiding behind the door of the bedroom in my childhood trailer park. Wild.

I want Super Duolingo but I don't want to pay for it. The app is terrible for teaching but good practice if you already know some so paying for it seems like a waste. I really just wanted to brush up on my Hongul since I have so many ancient Korean customers.

Yesterday it was Dolly-All-Day on the work radio, today I'll just play The Timewarp on repeat. Losing two queer icons in a single day is offensive, but we need to celebrate our precious icons for what they did, not what they never got to do. 🫡
We lost two legeneds this week. Tim Curry was amazing. I hope he finds the rest he needed. He will forever haunt our dreams and fantasies.

Thinking about how awesome Dolly Parton was. She truly was like no other. Her “Imagination Library” which sends free books to kids every month has been one of my favorite things she ever did. It made the pandemic feel a little less stressful when we’d open the mailbox and our son got a new book.
