I haven't been around much since I had a gluten flareup 😅 always check your food kiddos. I'm just happy to be back on mostly solids. Snake-eater was good a solid 4⭐️+. I love the found family, but I felt the boyfriend bit could have been done differently otherwise it's perfect. #booksky #horror

I’ve never read an AG Slatter book before, but I’ll be looking into her now. It has a gothic horror vibe that I feel like a lot of people will love. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. Release Day ~ Feb 2 2027 ⭐️4/5⭐️ #netgalley #booksky #fantasy

My throwback Thursday book is some og aliens😅. Look aliens were a lot tamer back in the early 00's. I think this came out in 2010, so not too long ago....right? What was one of your first alien romance books? #booksky #throwbackthursday #bookcover

My last book was a solid 3⭐. Not bad just no real wow factor, or I've read so many romance novels that they no longer affect me. I think after these two Kingfisher books I'll be mostly done with her for the rest of the year. I really need to get back to my tbr. #booksky #fantasy #horror #romance

It's the before and after pics of our hike that really get me 🤣. We hit up Peavine falls at the Oak Mountain State Park in AL. It's really pretty even when it's kind of dry. I think I prefer it slightly dry so you can see more of the lichen and ferns. #hiking

Due to the hurricane all of my library holds came up at the same time 🫣. I also got approved for an arc as well....excuse me while I slam my head into the wall. Bet you can't guess what I'm going to read next 🤣 #booksky #fantasy #horror #fiction

Lay Flat Friday - Nalini Singh Edition I literally don't have the space to lay out all 50ish of her books that I have, so I just nabbed some of my favorites. This isn't even everything she's written. Have you read any of Nalini Singh's series? #LayFlatFriday #FlatLayFriday #paranormal #bookcover

Omfg The Hollow Places scared the crap out of me!! 10/10 I will recommend to everyone every!! I need to tell the horror librarian about that book asap. My next read is actually a rec by one of you from many months ago 🥰. #booksky #horror #paranormal #romance

Fake Dating a Demon ended nicely. I didn't expect what happened to the demon in the end, which was a nice surprise. I swear every time I turn around I'm tripping over a T. Kingfisher book lol. I'm trying to make it through all her books this year. #booksky #romance #horror #fantasy #fiction #book

Currently dealing with the chickens trying to come inside 🫠. Luckily the hurricane hit now and not a month ago or we'd really be suffering. Anyway I'm reading this cute thing since life keeps kicking me in the teeth 😅 #booksky #fantasy #romance

My current read while I wait for the hurricane to come. Got it at the free book place from a lady who highly recommended it lmao 🤭 Don't worry we have food, water, and such. I'm also not in it's direct path technically, so we should be gucci. #booksky #hurricane #fantasy #werewolves

Huh guess I can upload long videos. So my hand slipped and I accidentally pulled out my wallet multiple times and bought a bunch of books oopsie 😅. I may have just messed myself up on reading down my tbr 🥲. Aww shucks lol😈 #booksky #fantasy #horror #romance #bookhaul

⭐️5⭐️ So many stars for the irregular witches omg it's so good, and the blurb in the back for the next book makes me want to pick that one up rn. Onwards and hopefully upwards to my next read. So far so interesting, and it fits the rainy weather we've been getting lol. #booksky #fantasy #fiction

This is what I'm reading rn. Number 2 out of 10ish of my tbr stack. I somehow got the pretty sprayed edge edition 🤩 So far so cute. We have a deadline and some stakes in the first 50 pages. Love the fmc and the mmc is a grump lol. #booksky #fantasy #romance #witches

The fmc is one of the best things about this book. I don't like posting negative reviews, so I'll just say that it wasn't for me. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. Release Day ~ Nov 17, 2026 ⭐️2/5⭐️ #netgalley #booksky #fantasy #monster #romance

📚October TBR📚 I did really well this last month and got through 6 of the 8 books I set for myself to read. I think I'll keep around the same amount this month, and hope for the best lol. Still working on Empire of Silence btw 😵‍💫 #booksky #fiction #fantasy #sci-fi #romance #tbr

📚Battle of the Books!📚 Okay tbf I do have another author with 2 slots as well. I just really loved Daggerbound, and what kind of monster doesn't absolutely love Large Francis!! What's your favorite book this month? #booksky #5star #books #fiction #battleofthebooks

📚September reading wrap up📚 Well that's funny lol. The last three books I gave a 5⭐to are all Kingfisher this month. I managed to read 6 out of my 8 tbr stack for the month, so I'm giving myself a little pat on the back for that😊 #booksky #fantasy #sci-fi #fiction #readingwrapup #romance

You can't see it, but all the bugs are shiny✨️. Love the added detail. Just got done with The Once and Future Witches by Alex E. Harrow, and it's a solid ⭐️3⭐️. I get what she was trying to do, but it just didn't grab me yk. It's good but not The Everlasting good lol. #booksky #magic #fiction

I just got my first owlcrate box!😁 Now it is something I ordered, but I did finally get on the adult fantasy book sub, so there will be more! Yay me and all that jazz; hopefully the next Ilona Andrews book isn't as hard to find lol. #booksky #owlcrate #t.kingfisher #Kingfisher #horror

Lay Flat Friday - G.A. Aiken Edition A great author with a fun fantasy world. I honestly love how each fmc and mmc is unique not just in mind, but in body as well. She's a hilarious writer and also writes as Shelly Laurenston. Honestly go check her out. #LayFlatFriday #FlatLayFriday #bookcover

Currently reading this. Did you know the yellow parts on the front glow in the dark....bc I didn't until last night when I scared myself with a glance at this book on my nightstand!😱 I'm trying to get back into Empire of Silence, but truly it's starting to slog hard 😬🫣 #booksky #fantasy #romance

Pretty good omegaverse book. It's a solid ⭐4/5⭐. I think it's being republished with new covers. It's trope heavy if you've read oab books before you'll know what to expect. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. #booksky #omegaverse #romance #fantasy

#booksky #hobbitday #Tolkien #hobbit #lotr

Pretty solid 4⭐️, but I feel like she's running out of steam. Maybe it's bc the fmc and mmc are running everywhere with too many emergencies to put out. It's just not hitting the cozy vibes the way the other 2 did. Maybe the next book will hit the cozy vibes better. #booksky #fantasy #cozy #ocean

So I'm still not taking any fault lol, but my last library hold just came in. My poor Empire of Silence book is going to have to wait a bit longer. #booksky #library #fantasy #fiction #horror

Lay Flat Friday - Ilona Andrews Edition An auto buy author for me since their first book. I've been reading them for decades and have loved every series they've come out with. Have you read any of the Ilona Andrews series? #LayFlatFriday #FlatLayFriday #bookcover #ilonaandrews #katecurran #tkwnkm

A fascinating mix of folklore and fantasy as we follow Lua the cursed daughter in her world. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. Release Day~Feb 2, 2027 ⭐️3/5⭐️ #netgalley #booksky #fantasy #folklore

My throwback Thursday book that changed my brain chemistry as a teen. This is actually my second of this cover since I reread my first one so many times it literally fell apart. What's a book that changed you as a person when you were younger? #booksky #throwbackthursday #bookcover #Ayla
