"Stone Cold" Steve Cobden

Was a penguin before fascists decided to be weird about them. History buff. Classic cinema lover. Formerly resident of Alexandria, Dublin, Sofia and Los Angeles. Enjoys the odd video game. Great War Living Historian. Ferroequinologist. He/him.

M. Before (s)he became head of MI6, (s)he was a spy. Because of the fucked up Bond timeline, it is set in the 17th Century. Starring Tom Holland and Thomasin McKenzie as the title character in alternating scenes.

Pitch your most pointless, dull prequel idea that could potentially be greenlit in this idea-starved world. DIRTY: In which we learn how Harry Callahan earned his nickname.

Red and green together are by far the stupidest colours to use for any serious application, and the fact we do so is largely because it is very difficult to make blue with a yellow flamed parrafin lamp (a blue filter just makes a green light).

Everybody knows green means something is on and red means it's off. Blue or white lights could literally mean anything. Manufacturers need to stop using them just because they think they look cool

Still playing First Light. Honestly, it is growing on me. It is a bit weird - from a gameplay standpoint it is clearly better when it is being more on the Hitman side of "Hitman meets Bond". I quite like the villain's motivation - it makes sense but is also somehow funny.

Oh, God, Youtube has looped back round to showing me watch youtubers again. This means I once again I now have several tabs open for high end watch companies selling watches I cannot quite afford nor justify the need for. And also a tab open with a list of nearby Post Offices with poor security.

Once again, I am saying: complete HS2. Make it steam hauled. I promise there is logic to it. Admittedly, some of it is "Adam West's Batman solving a puzzle left by the Riddler" logic. But it makes more sense than the current plan.

Can we start compiling a list of every policy you'd like to see a new Labour leader make? Big or small, what would actually start to make the country feel better for people?
