There have always been Beasts, creatures of twisted imagination. HarrowHyrst is no exception. Lately strange creatures have been appearing, getting bolder, letting themselves be seen where before they kept hidden from all but the unlucky.Their forms are twisted yet familiar, both human and animal.

Here's the two I've painted so far together! Using these minis to give me energy between other projects. Just doing exactly what my whims decide with no care for anything else. Weathering metals is something I find oddly soothing so I did just that.

Something I’ve been doing in the background is cleaning up 3 ebay fiends, but it’s been so much work! Scraping through layers and layers of thick primer and superglue.
Messing around with some more frostgrave / oathmark kits. I thought the gnolls would be bigger then a generic humanoid but they’re a bit on the small side. The orc heavy infantry kit is fantastic! #nerdlings

RIP John Blanche. Safe to say his art got me into 40k and he was a huge influence in my own art in my younger years :(
Every Warhammer fan will have their own story of how John Blanche transformed their game & informed their lives. The man was a giant whose shadow has cloaked the entire hobby, not in grim darkness, but in vibrant, idiosyncratic colour. Rest in peace, Mr Blanche.
