HEARTLESS HUNTER X SLAVIC FOURTH WING 🎭 She, a humble servant posing as Duchess, is his executioner-to-be. 🐉 He, the arrogant Dragon Prince, must save a kingdom from the encroaching Ever-Dark. 🖤 Neither anticipated falling for the one destined to be their undoing. #questpit #NA #R #F #DF #Q

A gothic-style book cover titled "Root and Ruin." Centered is a glowing, cyan-blue dragon coiled into a circle, its scales etched with faint, runic symbols. Golden, gnarled roots extend downward from the dragon like branching veins against the pitch-black background. Text at the top reads "Enemies to Lovers," "Fated Mates," and "Fake Identity," with "An Agent’s Guide" in the top right. Subtitle reads "80k • NA Slavic Romantasy," and the bottom logline says, "She is sent to kill the dragon. Instead, she might become his only salvation."

A graphic titled "The Comps" in golden lettering. It displays four book covers arranged in a grid: "Heartless Hunter" by Kristen Ciccarelli, "Fourth Wing" by Rebecca Yarros, "Shadow and Bone" by Leigh Bardugo, and "The Witcher: The Last Wish" by Andrzej Sapkowski.

A self-made fantasy illustration showing a halfway transformed, dark-haired man, Prince Konstantin Veliki, with a silver crown and dragon wings. He is carrying a woman, a humble servant Iva, masquerading as a Duchess Zora, in a long, flowing cream-colored gown as they fly through the air. She is his guest but unbeknownst to him, she is plotting to poison him. In the background, a sprawling forest surrounds a magic academy, Kolegium with colorful, traditional Slavic-style onion domes—gold, silver, bronze and green. Each of the domes represents air, water, fire and earth magic respectively. Snippet text at the bottom reads: "Do you always sequester your guests and take flight with them?"

A self-made illustration set in the catacombs under the magic academy, Kolegium, featuring classical-style statues on the walls. Iva, in dark armor, rides a bright, light blue-scaled dragon; it is Prince Konstantin Veliki in his dragon form.
They face off against a monstrous, ethereal shadow dragon composed of wispy, black smoke and glowing eyes — this is Konstantin’s fallen father Tibor Veliki. A brilliant golden sphere of light, relic of the Slavic god of light, Belobog, called Spark of Creation, floats on a pedestal between them. Text at the bottom of the snippet reads: "Let us dance, little one," the Shadow Dragon hisses in a dry whisper of the fallen. "A worthy foe," Konstantin responds. We take to the air to meet the darkness. Two gargantuan winged silhouettes hover in the abyss, suspended in a precarious balance. They mirror one another; two sides of the same coin, champions of Belobog and Chernobog.

Pumped to pitch ETERNALLY DEAD - my 107k paranormal romantic fantasy that explores what happens when an injured musician gets a second shot at stardom by joining an all-vampire rock band in the dangerous Vampire Realm 🧛‍♂️ 🩸🎸 #questpit #a #f #pr #rf #q #amquerying

Background of concert audience with giant vampire fangs floating above alongside the words "An agent's guide to: Eternally Dead, Adult Paranormal Romantic Fantasy, 107k words, by @katgoestoshows." A one sentence pitch is featured on bottom that reads: An injured musician gets a second shot at stardom -- only its by joining an all-vampire rock band in the blood-thirsty vampire realm. A red splatter of blood is splashed is corner.

Red and black background with red text at the top that reads "the blurb." The text below reads: Celia Sharpe's life-long dream of being a rockstar guitarist ended the day an accident wrecked her hand. Now a New York City concert photographer, she strictly focuses on making deadlines. But when Celia spots a mysterious stranger at a concert she can’t capture on camera, she abandons her job to follow him down an alley—only to be accidentally transported to the Vampire Realm.

Stranded and vulnerable in a world of dangerous monsters, Celia has one goal: return home ASAP. But the stranger she followed reveals that he's the bassist of all-vampire rock band Mortuus Aeternum (Eternally Dead), and he offers her a seductive opportunity: if Celia stays, the band's flirty guitarist Caliban will temporarily heal her hand so she can join Mortuus Aeternum. However, she must perform for audiences of blood-thirsty vampires, of course.

Trapped in the Vampire Realm with no way out, Celia is conflicted: she might be willing to sacrifice her freedom for Caliban's healing magic and a second chance at living her rockstar dreams, but she risks death if she doesn't find a way home. Especially when blood shortages are announced across the Vampire Realm. How will she survive?

Red and black background with a bright red title that reads THE COMPS. Below are four book covers and one movie poster that include brief descriptions beside them. The first is Fang Fiction by Kate Stayman-London and it's described as an urban fantasy in a vampire setting. Next is Bride by Ali Hazelwood, described as having a steamy romance and political intrigue. Next is The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent, described as having a human fighting to survive in a vampire world. Next is a movie poster for Almost Famous, described as music journalist + rock band = forced proximity. Last is the cover of Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid, described as having a rock band with secrets and love triangles. The tropes and vibes section includes the following text: grounded fantasy, found family, diverse characters, plot twists, chronic illness rep, slow burn yearning, and twist on fated mates.

Red and black background with white text snd large red title that reds THE OPENING. Below the title is the opening of the book, which reads: Celia Sharpe slammed her palm against the closed subway doors, trying to pry open the cool metal with sweaty fingertips. The train had finally – finally – made it to the station, and she needed to get off. Now. When the doors opened at long last, she burst through them like a bat out of hell, charging towards the exit.
She couldn't miss the opening of this show, or it might be her last.

Below the opening is the word EXCERPT in large red letters, and below is text in white font. The following excerpt reads:
Caliban knelt beside her and took her hand, her breath hitching at his touch. A warm sensation transferred between his fingertips and her scar, a tingling feeling moving up her whole arm. She pulled back on instinct.
“What did you do?” she trembled, awestruck. The scar had vanished.
“It’s only temporary. Please play,” he said, his green eyes wanting.
The pain was gone. Gone. As if it had never been there at all. Her left hand curved around the guitar neck, hugging the strings. Overcome by the magic of it, Celia grinned.

HEATED RIVALRY X STAR SHIPPED 🎪 After Vincent’s acro partner is banned from their theater, he must create an entirely new act with his biggest rival or face unemployment. 🤸 #amquerying #questpit #Q #R

Cover with acrobats titled “Bend Over Backwards”

Pitch - after vincent’s acro partner is banned from their vegas-themed circus show, he’s forced to create an entirely new act with his biggest rival or face unemployment. cole’s flashy hand-to-hand stunts and throws are fine for television, but his aggressive style clashes with vincent’s controlled contortion and fear of falling. vincent plans to escape by auditioning for his dream circus company, but the closer he gets to cole, the more reason he has to stay.

List of tropes including rivals to lovers, found family, and only one bed

Happy #QuestPit day! Here's my #agentsguide to THISTLE & BRIAR, a 93k adult romantasy 🦋 “Have you ever accidentally botched a spell that bound you to a fae man who hates your guts? Asking for a friend.” #Q #A #F #R #RF

An agent's guide to Thistle & Briar by R. A. Betzer. "Have you ever accidentally botched a spell that bound you to a fae man who hates your guts? Asking for a friend." 93k words. Editor interest and RevPit shortlist. Adult romantasy.

The Pitch. A dream for freedom, a spell gone wrong, one year to fix it, and the only one who can help her is a hot fae she was accidentally bound to. The problem is he can't stand her. Themes & Tropes. Slow burn. Cranky fae x wild swamp girl. He bites, she wants him to. Wild, cruel faeries. One bed and one elk. Spell gone wrong (they have to do it or she'll die in a year).

Comp Titles: The Knight & the Moth by Rachel Gillig. Aching devotion. The Princess Bride. Playful adventure romance. Swordheart by T. Kingfisher. Banter-driven slow burn. In the Veins of the Drowning by Kalie Cassidy. Lyircal angst.

The Blurb. Dusky Poddock would do anything to be kidnapped by faeries. Unfortunately, the faeries would do anything to send her back. Facing an arranged marriage to a widower twice her age, Dusky attempts (and botches) a spell fueled by the scraps of magic her late mother left behind. Instead of escape, she binds herself to Percy—a surly faery noble determined to expose a traitor, secure his claim as the heir, and protect his younger brother from the brutal politics of faery court. If Dusky cannot win Percy’s favor within a year, the spell will kill her. Eager to stay and eager to survive, Dusky employs herself as Percy’s faithful servant, determined to help his mission succeed. Little does she know, the spell requires her to fulfill Percy’s deepest desire at the time the magic was set in motion: creating an heir of his own. When Dusky learns the truth, she’s far less daunted than she should be at the prospect of sharing a bed with a gorgeous (if infuriatingly surly) faery. Percy, however, wants nothing less. As threats close in and Percy's carefully guarded heart begins to crack, Dusky uncovers corruption woven deep into the faery realm and learns that magic alone may not be enough to undo her mistake. With time running out and dangerous faeries offering false hope, it all comes down to Dusky, Percy, and the spell that binds their clashing hearts.

Is it too late to ask if anyone here wants to swap support for #questpit ? I’m new to Bluesky and it would be nice to share my character art and pitch with other writers 🥹

Tried my first #questpit over on Twitter and it was super quiet and not very eventful…I should note I have no followers their either but it pushed me to open a bluesky account and try here next time
