Idk if you'd call it a "kink" but my favorite thing to read are histories of movies I don't necessary "like" but find the choices bewildering and then finding out how batshit the devopment process on said movie is which led to its fascinatedly odd execution. Put it directly in my veins

Somewhere a guy is downloading smeary, fucked-up 4K upscales of Chappelle's Show and he has some tallcans of something shitty supercooling in the freezer and he's going to put those two things together tonight and nothing in the world is going to get in his way and sometimes I wish I was that guy.
