Amidst much talk of devolving power to regions, including Mayors, I see that the voter turnout for the Greater Manchester mayoral by-election was only 25%. If 3/4 of voters aren't bothered who their Mayor is, it suggests to me that most just don't care about one of Burnham's priority policies. 🤔

Basically everything is new on the upgraded Aston Martin except the front suspension, engine and the gearbox

As of yesterday, 12,469 people had arrived so far this year across the Channel, down over 11,000 (47%) on the same time last year. More than 10% down on 2023 as well, which was when crossings were, by comparison to other years, lower.
