John Scalzi@scalzi.com · 7d agoAnyone who doesn't think we had autistic kids back in the day didn't know the kids I knew in elementary school, the ones that were called "hyper" or "spastic" or were suspected of having "water on the brain," etc. Kids today are a lot better off with a formal diagnosis and treatment.
