Here’s the first image from my new series, IMAQ - one of three series created during last year’s adventure in #Greenland. Already counting down the days until I return this September with the best group of people !

Davvi pt II - #Norway, 2025. In near whiteout conditions, the landscape loses most of the detail and is reduced to fleeting contrasts. A raw, stripped-down beauty on the edge of visibility. In these moments, images resemble minimalistic charcoal sketches - defined only by tone, form and texture.

Auðn part IV - #Iceland Dappled light spilled through breaks in the storm, chasing shadows across the mossy lava fields of Iceland’s highlands. For a brief, one could shoot in all directions - and it moved so fast, at times it felt like being part of a timelapse sequence!

Auðn part III - #Iceland The wind had been howling all morning, and we could sense that something was about to change. The sun pierced through the high clouds like a spotlight, illuminating slopes of ancient basaltic volcanic sand and ash. A perfect interplay of light, shadow and time.

Auðn part II - #Iceland In the heart of the highlands, the land seems stripped to its pure essence. A black desert stretches endlessly, broken only by the delicate veins of braided rivers and the soft glow of moss clinging to volcanic rock.

Auðn part I The interior highlands of Iceland are no joke. A vast, haunting expanse of black deserts, jagged lava fields - where Earth feels wild and pristine. I’d dreamt of visiting this lunar landscape for years, not necessarily for it's beauty, but for it's rawness and otherworldly resemblance.
