The part swap I have to do for my PC is more involved than I thought but still hopefully simple enough and I am praying that it fixes the issue because my old PC has me seconds from wanting to just trash it right now.

This headline is misleading, if you read the article he specifically says that it's being discontinued because as he retires from judging, he's unable to find someone who is able to be a judge, implied because of scheduling & workloads, not because there's no more creative people or no one suitable.
