Election night Steve Kornacki reminds me of friends in the 90s that enjoyed various nose candies and decided that the top of the fridge needed cleaning at 10pm.
Fun day tomorrow. I get to go to the data center to point at things that the local guys will power off next week. I also have to find an old Cisco 2811 router that needs to go. Nobody knows where it is. A stupid 2" high router shoved in one of the dozens of racks. Dear baby jebus on a stick.
I neglected closing the door to keep Ziggy isolated from the other pugs at their food time. Guess Nemo didn't finish his food and Ziggy did it for him. 500+ glucose. He was down to 400 after he ate and got his insulin. Hoping he is normal in the morning. Still a feisty demon.
After some highs and lows and insulin adjustments, I finally have Ziggy back to normal. Now to deal with the liver stuff. Got 2 values to go down and 2 went up. Trying an antibiotic before the expensive stuff. @puggymama21.bsky.social

Speed by the liquor store today. Heard the cashier say, "Where do you live? Your address? What is your zip code? Nope. I'm keeping this. Bye!" It was a really bad fake ID from California. Ink smeared and kinda sticky. They say it happens a lot when college is starting up.
Great test tonight. May adjust a hair down tomorrow to about 2.9u. guessing he will be low to mid 100s in the morning. Crazy that he was 4.6u at the start of the year.

I guess every week there is a meeting with bosses going up 4 or 5 levels to discuss progress. They said that things need to speed up. I thought I was going to get in trouble😥, but a boss 3 levels up said that I was doing a great job and everyone else was sucking. I plan something, they don't do it.
Ziggy had a great visit with the vet today. He got a few too many treats which mucked up his glucose. He brought many smiles. He is back down to a normal 270 for sleepy times after giving him 3u of insulin.
I lowered the amount of milk thistle for Ziggy's morning meal and gave him about 2.25u of insulin today. He is running a tad high in the low 300s, but nothing terrible. It is dropping as usual and should be mid/high 200s by dinner. Going with 2.5u for dinner. He is feeling good.
After a mostly sleepless night, Ziggy is starting out just fine. Going to lower the milk thistle dose by half and see what happens. Vet visit to test liver at 4pm.
Guessing this is the interview process for an IT project manager. Have you managed a project? I helped with the diorama for my kid's science project. Do you know what IT stands for? Interwebs Things? Do you know how to use Excel? My dad said I excel at everything I do. When can you start?

After a mostly sleepless 5 hours in bed, Ziggy is mostly back to normal. 5:29am test was 156, 7:07am at 169, 7:24 at 194. Finally gave him his insulin. Dropped his dose from the 3.6 to 3.4 units. About .5mm.
