Hello @ohbmofficial.bsky.social , it's good to be back! Really excited to be part of this g-ratio revival led by @jackvanhorn8.bsky.social

I am very excited for this OHBM @ohbmofficial.bsky.social symposium on axonal and myelin measurement USING MRI/DWI and their contributions to the g-ratio and neural signal conduction estimation!! @stikov.bsky.social @siawooshmr.bsky.social @mfcallaghan.bsky.social @mathieuboudreau.bsky.social

Hello Cape Town! After the first two volumes of my ISMRM blues series, which were critical of the society, I expected silence from the ISMRM. Instead, they showed class by inviting me to speak on the very topic that drew the most attention in my critique: bringing MRI to developing countries. 1/n

Now is a great time to revitalize thinking on measuring myelin, g-ratio, and bringing conduction velocity into the conversation on brain connectivity! Join us at #OHBM for “THE NEED FOR SPEED: Multimodal Neuroimaging Contributions to Assessment of in vivo Mapping of Neural Signal Conduction”! 🧠🏎️🚔

Announcing Evidentron, coming soon to a scientific publication near you! Agah Karakuzu got academic papers to talk to each other, bringing his vision of woven literature to life via AI-driven @mystmd.org articles With Evidentron you can: 1/n

Our foundation KANTAROT / КАНТАРОТ created kits with experiments that illustrate fun science concepts: 1. How to prevent soap bubbles from popping? 2. What is capillary activity? 3. Why do we print using CMYK colors? 4. Who can see the Ames window illusion? Check out our promo video!

Tomorrow (December 4) we will demonstrate what woven literature looks like in the age of AI. We will introduce a new AI-driven article format (wired paper) and present four examples that cover a range of disciplines. Join us! qantarot.substack.com/p/introducin...

Introducing Evidence: Wired papers, woven literature

On December 4 we are unveiling the Evidence publishing platform. Join us in-person at NYU Abu Dhabi, or virtually via Zoom!

I moderated a fun debate at the @esmrmb.bsky.social microstructure workshop today. We asked the panelists to argue for and against the clinical potential of qMRI. Inspired by the Munk debates, we polled the audience before and after the discussion. It appears the pessimists won by a small margin:)

Johnes Obungoloch (PhD) first visited us at @polymtl in 2019 for the first edition of the MRathon. Six years later, he is back in Montreal building a low-field MRI scanner with Udunna Anazodo It was a pleasure welcoming him back to the NeuroPoly lab together with @jcohenadad.bsky.social
